VAK learning styles and educational achievements in communication in students of a regular basic education center in Lima

Abstract
This research had a general objective to determine the relationship between VAK learning styles (visual, auditory and kinesthetic) and educational achievements in communication in students of the Advanced Cycle of CEBA Augusto B. Leguía - Puente Piedra, 2018. The method used was the hypothetical - deductive. The type of study was basic, with a quantitative approach and a non-experimental design. The population was made up of 108 students from the advanced cycle of CEBA Augusto B. Leguía - Puente Piedra. The sample was Census type, being made up of the same number of students in the population. Psychometric analysis and observation were used as data collection techniques and a test and a checklist as instruments. The data collected was statistically processed, having as the main conclusion that there is a significant relationship between VAK learning styles and educational achievements in communication in students of the Advanced Cycle of CEBA Augusto B. Leguía -Puente Piedra, 2018. The correlation coefficient is Rho = 0, 742. Indicates a strong positive correlation. If the level of VAK learning styles is increased, the level of learning achievement in communication will increase. The significance value is less than p = .050 (p = .000). According to the statistical condition, the null hypothesis was rejected.
