Abstract
The objective of this article is to make a correlation between the Modernization of Public Management and Corruption in the Criminal Investigation Directorate of Lima Initially, some antecedents related to the Modernization of Public Management and Corruption are raised, later a conceptualization of the Modernization of Public Management is made, emphasizing this concept as the basis of the institution. It was concluded that there is evidence to affirm that the Modernization of Public Management is significantly related to corruption according to the personnel hired from the Lima Criminal Investigation Directorate surveyed being that Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient of 0.788, in which there is a high correlation between the variables.
