Abstract

The present work provides scientific evidence about the use of virtuality as a teaching strategy. Physical education teachers in times of pandemic adapted their courses to the strategy of their country. The motivation for the present study arises from finding the possible general psychological and physiological effects of confinement. A literature review has been carried out in relevant databases and research and meta-analytics have been selected from which information was extracted about the response to teaching-learning and positive and negative effects. It has been found that the use of video as an alternative strategy in the teaching of physical education is contemplated in the platforms. The COVI -19 pandemic reveals in some studies the association with social and psychological effects, such
as isolation and aggressiveness; while in others it is associated with motor learning and relearning and tenacity to face confinement situations. Regarding physiological effects, it has been found beneficial in combating the global epidemic of sedentary lifestyle and obesity. This gives us an alternative to the use of conditioned platforms in the life of the student population. Materials and methods. They have been the review of scientific articles that address the use of platforms as a teaching strategy including physical education. And the method is systematic review. Results. More systematic studies should be conducted to determine the effects of platforms as a teaching strategy in physical education in times of pandemic. Conclusion. Systematic scientific research in this regard is scarce and sometimes contradictory.
