Affection of Human Dignity in University Students by COVID-19

Abstract

The aftermath of COVID-19 continues to affect human dignity, especially university students, the reason for this study; who, for the most part, by working to support their family, expose themselves to contagion. In this context, the government has not been able to safeguard human life, contributing that the dignity of the person is affected by the impact of the departure of their closest relatives. This research had a population of students from sixteen Peruvian universities, who answered a questionnaire with questions related to the bioethics, philosophy and theology dimension; 101 responses were obtained, the results of which in the questions related to Bioethics indicated that 96% were affected by their dignity and 4% were not affected; In the philosophical questions, it was found that 94% were affected by their dignity and 6% were not affected; while I know that in the Theology studies the result reflected
that 93% were affected and 7% were not. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov ° analysis determined the goodness of the probability fit in Bioethics, 237; Philosophy, 314; and, Theology, 145; a significant correlation at the 0.01 level (bilateral); in the crossed tables the percentage was 85% of affectation. It is concluded
that Covid-19 affects dignity and, that it corresponds to the government and universities, to implement measures to provide immediate psychological care, which allows students a normal emotional development
