Family environment influencing positive parenting in Covid-19 times.

Abstract

In the last year, the family situation has changed worldwide due to the pandemic, roles, family structure and dynamics have diversified and changed, and the influence of other factors of the family environment must also be taken into account, as well as the uncertainty and general fear that parents feel, so educating in positive parenting is a necessity and priority when the numbers of domestic violence have grown abruptly in this period. The research carried out in two phases, the first part developing the final Master's work, with all the documentary review to argue the importance of the topic and the second phase carried out 1 year later, approached from the qualitative approach, with a random sample of members of the family as parents with small children, and older children in order to analyze the influence of 3 factors of the family environment on positive parenting as a strategy to contribute from the research processes and professional intervention from Social Work.
