Pedagogy of love in university students
Main Article Content
Abstract
The pedagogy of love is a theory that arises as an alternative to the crisis in contemporary society marked by signs of dehumanization, broken relationships and lacking environmental responsibility. This research sought to identify the current state of scientific production around the pedagogy of love in university students in the repositories of the Ebsco, Scopus, Redalyc, Scielo, Dialnet and Google Academic journals in the last 10 years. It is a bibliometric, descriptive and interpretive study, with a total of 58 articles retrieved from indexed journals. It was identified that Brazil and Venezuela are the countries with the highest number of publications referring to the pedagogy of love, affection and tenderness, between the years 2010 and 2020. The application of the pedagogy of love is part of a comprehensive education where human beings are formed creative, transformative, fair and caring through awareness to act in a complex world, providing quality education. It was concluded that research on the pedagogy of love in university students is scarce, and there remains the challenge of research on a pedagogy that instills values in a natural way and makes students better citizens, integral beings and with critical reasoning.
