Connecting and organizing my ideas: systematic review

Abstract
According to UNESCO, six of ten children and adolescents in the world have deficiencies to reach the minimum levels of reading proficiency; in this context, a solution is proposed from the pedagogical point of view, which consists of putting into practice the use of graphic organizers that allow classifying and organizing ideas, improving cognitive skills and promoting meaningful learning. Review the scientific production about the use of graphic organizers in the educational field in Scopus, Dialnet, Redalyc, Scielo and Latindex databases in the 2011-2020. 102 articles were found; Spain is the country with more publications about graphic organizers, concept maps were the most studied.
